United Steelworkers Endorse Don Cazayoux

Baton Rouge - The United Steelworkers today endorsed Democratic Candidate Don Cazayoux for Congress in the March 8 th special election for Louisiana 's 6th District.

"The Steelworkers are proud to endorse Don Cazayoux for Congress. Don has stood with us in many battles to create a better future for working families,” said J. M. Mickey Breaux, USW District Director. “While serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, he has supported us over the years and we are enthusiastically supporting him now."

“I am proud to have the endorsement of the United Steelworkers and I have been proud to stand with them in the legislature on issues important to working families”, said Cazayoux. “I am running for Congress to find solutions to tough problems like rising healthcare premiums and trade agreements that have sent too many jobs overseas. I look forward to working with the United Steelworkers on these issues”
