“"We are at a critical juncture in Louisiana history when the state is experiencing major change. I believe Don, as a young, genuine, and honest leader is the best candidate for this situation, in the same way that Governor Jindal was able to match his unique skill-set up with this period in history and influence dramatic positive change." said Smoot Carter, President of the LSU College Republicans.
“I have known Don for a long time and worked closely with him on the effort to reform our ethics laws over the past few years, said David Bondy, CEO of LUBA Worker's Comp and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber of Commerce. “I was impressed with the courage Don displayed as one of only a few legislators willing to take on the effort to reshape our state's image”.
Others at the meeting expressed Don's record of being pro-life, pro-2 nd amendment, and cutting taxes on the middle class as reasons for supporting Don's campaign for Congress.
“I am honored by the overwhelming support I have received from people of all parties,” said Cazayoux. “The Republicans who are supporting my campaign tell me they want a leader who will go to Washington and put the needs of Louisiana above partisanship. Republicans, Democrats and Independent are joining with me because they know I will stand up for Louisiana values.”
Don also launched a website at RepublicansforCazayoux.com to give more Republicans an opportunity to join the organization. |
